1. General License Information

1. myTaxExpress is licensed per installation. Each installation has a unique PIN/Key pair for activation.
2. Once an installation is licensed, a number of up-to-license-allowed returns can be prepared.
3. myTaxExpress can process tax returns with income at all ranges. However, low income tax returns (total income at line 150 of T1 less than $25,000) can have some free treatment if a license is installed, read below:
   • Licensed Efile software can prepare unlimited low income tax returns.
   • Licensed Print-only software can prepare unlimited low income tax returns.
   • Licensed Netfile software can prepare a number of low income tax returns until 20 returns limitation is reached. Read netfile limit of 20 enforced by CRA.

2. Refund Policy

A refund will NOT be granted AFTER a license key is issued or sent to customers. We provide free software download, so customers can try it first, then decide to buy the software.
If the license key is not retrieved or issued, customers could be refunded with $1.00 deducted for credit card processing fee.

3. What will happen after you make payment

Customers who pay online by credit card or PayPal (excluding pending paypal transaction), can retrieve and install license key from Internet, No waiting. An email will deliver online license key retrieval information immediately to the customer after the payment go through. Make sure to enter your email address correctly!

For customers who mail a cheque or pay by HyperWallet, we will email you online license instruction manually. You can retrieve license key online as well after you get the instruction.

All customers can email license PIN after payment is received by us, we will email you back with license key. Read this to find out what license PIN is.
